History

The Fırat University Health Sciences Institute was established in 1982. We offer a comprehensive range of educational programs, including 39 Master's and 32 Doctoral Programs across 43 departments encompassing fields such as medicine, veterinary, dentistry, physical education and sports, nursing, nutritional sciences, physiotherapy and rehabilitation and midwifery. We are committed to delivering a high-quality education to our students at both national and international levels, utilizing the full spectrum of modern educational resources and opportunities.

Our institute, which welcomes both national and international students, takes pride in having trained 798 researchers in master's programs and 577 researchers in doctoral programs since its establishment. Currently, 558 students are enrolled in postgraduate programs at our institute.
